I never thought one map could completely change the course of my league, but here we are. Running a single map not only turned my gear around but also made PoE 2 currency drop like I had access to a private trade site jackpot. For anyone looking to buy PoE 2 currency or just get a better grip on farming it, let me walk you through what actually worked for me.
The map that changed everything was the Dunes Map, juiced up with Delirium Orbs and paired with Expedition scarabs. Now, I know that might sound simple, but the key is in how you roll and scale the map. First, I used Polished Expedition Scarabs, which greatly increased the chance of uncovering Expedition encounters. Then, I added 2 Delirium Orbs, specifically Blight and Cartographer's Delirium Orbs, to create layers of reward mechanics.
Before entering, I made sure the map had modifiers like “Monsters drop additional currency items” and “Increased item quantity.” These mods massively influence how much PoE 2 currency you end up with.
