Flickering Flames has rolled back into ARC Raiders, and if you played the first run you'll notice pretty fast that this version hits harder and moves faster. Merit drains away while you hesitate, so you can't just wander and hope for the best if you want solid progress and maybe a few extra ARC Raiders Items along the way. The loop looks simple on paper – stack Merit, grab Candleberries, repeat – but once you're actually in the field, the only thing that really matters is how efficiently you move from one objective to the next.
Smart Route Planning
A lot of players still run around chasing the closest icon on the map, and that's where time just disappears. You're better off picking a route through areas where Candleberries spawn in little clusters, then running that same loop until the timer's done. It feels a bit like doing laps, but it saves you from hiking across the whole zone for a single pickup. I tend to avoid the obvious PvP choke points unless the squad's in the mood for a fight, because trading respawns with another team usually kills your Merit-per-minute. If you're with friends, it helps to spread out just enough to cover more ground, but stay close enough that one dash or grapple puts you back together when things get messy ARC Raiders Items.
Picking Missions That Actually Pay Off
Once you've got a decent route, the next thing that separates a good run from a wasted one is mission choice. Not every objective is worth the effort if you're chasing Merit first and everything else second. If your group can aim and you're not scared of wiping a few times, combat-heavy missions are usually where the big numbers come from, because the game just keeps throwing enemies at you. On nights when I'm solo or just not in the mood to sweat, I'll lean into exploration or scouting tasks instead; they take longer sometimes, but the pressure's lower and you're less likely to get third-partied. Keep an eye on any temporary multipliers the game throws up on the screen, because a boring mission suddenly becomes great when it pays extra for a short window.
Roles, Comms And Markers
Flickering Flames feels very different once your squad actually talks to each other. Getting on voice chat and giving people simple roles sounds basic, but it stops everyone from chasing the same objective and tripping over each other. One person can focus on peeling enemies off the team, another keeps an eye out for mission objectives, and someone else hoovers up the Candleberries when the coast is clear. You do not need complicated callouts either; quick pings and short lines like "two squads left side" or "berries on me" are enough. Make proper use of in-game markers to tag danger zones, snipers, or high-value loot so your teammates don't waste time checking every corner themselves.
Loadouts, Movement And Little Tricks
Your loadout quietly decides how good your Flickering Flames runs feel. Anything that boosts movement speed, stamina, or vertical mobility tends to pay off more than a tiny bit of extra damage, because moving faster between objectives is where you gain real time. Survivability perks are worth more than they look too; a quick shield, a bit of self-heal, or gear that lets you escape bad fights means you spend less time respawning and more time farming. Try to use the map itself – pull enemies into environmental hazards, line them up near explosive barrels, or kite them into crossfire so you burn less ammo. If you stick to a loose plan, keep your routes tight, and stay flexible with your gear, you'll end up stacking Merit and Candleberries much faster, and you'll walk away with more event rewards and even some ARC Raiders Items cheap than you expected rsvsr ARC Raiders Items. |
